I am a Certified End of Life Doula and founder of Epilogue End of Life Care. It is my privilege to provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support at the end of life to you and your family.

A native of New York, I currently live and work in the Sarasota, Florida area. Early in my career, I worked in the field of Gerontology as a social worker, followed by 15 years in banking & finance. I currently work as a health coach and holistic health practitioner, as well as an End of Life Doula. I hold a BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, an MA in Adult Development and Aging from Syracuse University, an MBA in Finance from Columbia University (NYC), a Ph.D. in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health, and certifications in nutrition, banking, and end of life doula care.

In order to promote the work of End of Life Doulas, I am a member of the International Doulagivers Association, the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA), and the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NELDA).

In the spring of 2017, both my parents came to the end of their lives and died a month apart from each other. Without training, I sat at their bedsides during those final days and hours, hoping to ease their passage into the unknown. Several years later I volunteered to care for a friend who was dying and spent four months as her primary caregiver and companion. My friend orchestrated how she wanted her final days to go and my job was to carry out her wishes. The months, weeks, and final days we spent together were very precious, and I began to feel I wanted to help others experience their end of life in this special way.

For me, being an End of Life Doula is a calling. After my friend died, I became a hospice volunteer and enrolled in the Doulagivers Institute, receiving my certification as an End of Life Doula in June 2022. The work I do now with patients and families is the most fulfilling work I’ve ever done. I consider myself truly fortunate to be part of the new wave of caregivers bringing needed attention and support to the end of life experience.

My MISSION: The mission of Epilogue End of Life Care is to provide non-medical support, companionship, and education to both patients and their loved ones through life’s final chapter, helping them experience death as a natural and sacred process. It is my hope for the patients and families with whom I work that they experience a peaceful, positive, and loving end-of-life experience
